SFA PTO NEEDS YOUR HELP!

PTO is looking for some helping hands for Field Day. Field Day is a fun all school event on Thursday, May 21. The students will be divided into mixed grade teams to compete in fun events organized by Ms. Klear.

Chairs are responsible for organizing the volunteers for the events, planning the PTO provided school lunch and the volunteer luncheon. This event has been run by 3 people the past few years. We already have a list of volunteers who signed up to help for the day at the Back to School Night. We have one person who would be willing to co-chair!

We also need somebody to chair the School Kidz school supply sale. This would entail communicating with teachers to update their supply lists and submitting to School Kidz.

Looking ahead to next school year, we are looking for a few people to run Santa Workshop. This is another event that would work well if a few people worked as a team.

Please contact Angel Kardum, mebb19@gmail.com, if you are interested.

INTENTIONS FOR PRAYER

As a community of faith, let us pray for the following intentions...

  • For Cole and Natalie Nemanic
  • For Harper, who is recovering from surgery
  • Cathy Stirling, who has bladder cancer
  • For Philip Wayner, who has leukemia
  • For Eileen Read
  • For all cancer patients especially, Dennis Barrett and Norahann O'Neill
  • For Mrs. Negrelli
  • For our St. Francis family, that we may be like St. Francis who lived a life dedicated to serving God and the needs of others
  • For the men and women who serve our country in the armed forces
  • For all those who are called to vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of the particular vocations.

If you have any prayer intentions, please email Mrs. Boothe
