Teacher Appreciation Week

Big picture
When teachers are recognized and celebrated for all they are doing, they feel human. They feel valued and appreciated. They feel good about themselves. They go to the classroom and spread that feeling making students feel appreciated. When teachers feel genuinely appreciated and that they matter, they appreciate and make students feel important.

Please take a moment to write your child's teacher a note to let them know that their efforts have not gone unnoticed. I can tell you that we have the most dedicated and committed staff! I try to tell them as often as possible :) Below are a few ideas of how you can show appreciation.

I will send teacher wish lists tomorrow.

Connecting school and home makes us a great community of learners! The weekly newsletter tells you what they will study in the upcoming week, any upcoming grades, and/or activities in class. #stayconnected

String Measurement

PK-5

Using string or ribbon, hold one end at the top of your head and have someone pull it straight down to the floor. This is your height (how tall you are). How many times do you think this string will wrap around your foot? Your leg? Your head? Make a prediction (a guess) and then find out.

PK and Kinder Round-Up Is HERE! Get Registered!
