Southern Colonies
This colony is made of Virginia, North, and South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland.
The warmer climate and fertile soil makes it easy for crops to grow and for pigs to graze.
The Southern Colonies is self-sufficient for thee most part so anything anyone needs is there pigs to eat, corn, and rice to eat, also naval stores and tobacco farming. People came here because of the great plantation economy.
Middle Colonies
This colony consists of New York, Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
The Middle Colonies have short winters, and fertile soil. This colony is known for agriculture, this colony is nicknamed " The Breadbasket Colony" for all the wheat that they grow throughout the year.
This area is also self sufficient. People came here because they wanted to farm.
New England Colonies
This colony has Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
Now this colony has lots of timber, the timber makes the boats/shipbuilding and that helps fishing, and whaling.
The climate in this colony is fairly cold and has rocky soil not great for the farming industry. People came here for fishing and the construction being done in timber and shipbuilding industry.
