Curriculum Nights

Calling all parents/guardians! We hope that you will be able to attend Thompson’s Curriculum Night. Thompson’s Curriculum Night for 7th and 8th grade parents will be held next Tuesday, August 30th. The 6th grade Curriculum Night will take place on Wednesday, August 31st. This event will begin at 6:30 pm on both evenings. Please allow 15 minutes for parking and getting to your child’s first hour classroom.

The format for the night will give you the opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, learn about this year’s curriculum, and hear about classroom expectations while following your child’s schedule found in HAC. The evening will conclude by 8:15 pm. We hope that everyone will be able to attend! Please bring a copy of your child’s schedule with you. If you need assistance when you arrive, please check in with the office and we will help you.

High School Football Games

It is high school football season! Tonight is St. Charles East High School’s first home football game. Our Thompson students are welcome to attend their high school’s football games. In order to be admitted, middle school students need to have their Thompson ID and a parent with them. Students are expected to be on their best behavior and follow all school rules. It is important to represent Thompson proudly by exhibiting appropriate behavior. Students unable to behave appropriately will have their parents contacted and will be asked to leave.

Upcoming Non Attendance Days for Students

Next Friday, September 2nd and the following Monday, September 5th will be non attendance days for students. Friday is an Institute Day for teachers and Monday is the Labor Day Holiday.

Enjoy your weekend!

~Steve
