Sir Henry Bessemer
was an English inventor. His steel making process would become the most important technique for making steel in the 19th century. He also established the town of Sheffield as a major industrial center.
Christopher Latham Sholes
was an American inventor who invented the first practical typewriter. This typewriter used the QWERTY keyboard which is still in use today. He was also a newspaper publisher and Wisconsin politician.

was a born in Scotland and was a scientist, inventor, engineer and innovator and he is credited with patenting the first ever telephone
George Eastman
was born on July 12, 1854 in New York. In 1880 he opened the Eastman Dry Plate and Film Company. His first camera was known as the Kodak and was sold in 1888 and consisted of a box camera with 100 exposures. Later he offered the first Brownie camera which was made for children. By 1927 Eastman Kodak was the largest company in the United States industry. Eastman committed suicide in 1932.

was an American entrepreneur and engineer who invented the railway air brake and was a pioneer of the electrical industry, gaining his first patent at the age of 22.
