The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is about an 8-year-old boy named Bruno. He and his family moved from there house in Berlin to a house in Poland. The reason is that Bruno's father is a Nazi Commander. Not long after moving there Bruno sees a Concentration camp out the window. He goes out and goes to the gate to see what it is and a young boy about him age comes to the gate. His name was Shmuel. Shmuel lives on the other side of the fence.

Why Someone Should Read This Book

The characters are not real because this book is fiction. This book tells about different things that happend in the holocaust, that are real. This book is for people that like history, fictions, dramas, and intense books. I think many people would like this book.
