It's the most wonderful time of the Year! No better time to Finish Strong and Carry On into 2015.

Let's breakdown today's email on 2 topics!

  • TOP Tips on how to Fill Your January. I have 5 tips listed in this email. THE NEXT TWO WEEKS is ESSENTIAL in booking your January Strong. Reaching out and following up is a must and I know you can All Do It!

Some fellow leaders have shared some great tips with me that may help YOU to collect sales this month! It will take some hustle, but these can work!

  1. Have you looked at your contacts recently? Taken a peek at who has a wish list or who has store credit? These are GREAT gals to call!

    1. Gals with credit: Remind the customers with store credit how much they have. Then say - "So do share...what are you eyeing up from the new collection?" Of course you already strategically have a few suggestions for her based on her prior purchases! Or you can share your favorite "must - have gifts on hand" for the season! Ask her to pop online right now and you'd love to give her some personal styling suggestions right now and help her with an order! Sometimes it's all about being enthusiastic and sharing these ideas with conviction!

    2. Gals with wish lists. Especially if the wish list is fairly new - these gals are already warm! They have been looking online or seen S&D somewhere recently. So pick up the phone and call them! My words to say: "Hello ____. It's Missy Bryan from Stella & Dot! I have to admit - I saw you added some gorgeous pieces to your wish list and I had to reach out to chat about it! Did you look online or were you eyeing up some jewels somewhere? Well - I have a super fun idea. The holiday season is officially here and there is no better time to grab some friends for a fabulous trunk show. Everyone has holiday gifts to buy - they might as well do it with a drink in their hand and friends by their side and I would be so super excited to treat YOU to a sparkly hostess shopping spree! How does that sound???" Then be quiet - but EXPECT an objection!

    Go for the booking first! If you can't seal the deal on a TS - GO FOR THE SALE!!!!!! Say....well - I'd love for you to be one of my debut hostesses for the spring line, but let's scoop up some of that sparkle for you now. What on your list is your must have now? Tell me about the gals you have to shop for for the holidays - hostess gifts? Teachers? Coworkers? Family members? Help her shop gifts!!!! And then remind her to treat herself to something fun, too!

  2. Post to the FB Walls of all of your upcoming Hostesses
    My words:
    Friends can scoop up some deals BEFORE your trunk show! All orders shipped directly to them in 3 - 5 days Scoop up some amazing style for a steal - today and tomorrow only (or while baubles and bags last) Tag friends you think would love these styles for themselves or as holiday gifts for moms, sisters, bffs, teachers, MIL, or coworkers!

  3. Email the trunk show exclusives to the entire guest list from open shows and upcoming shows:

    Hello Fabulous Ladies! Whether you were able to attend ______s trunk show or not - had to reach out about this incredible monthly special from Stella & Dot. Shop online at and scoop up this style for a steal today and tomorrow only (or until these steals and deals sell out). Fill up that gift closet! Grab some gifts for your sister, niece, friends, coworkers, kids' teachers and coaches, neighbors, and of course yourself. Of course you deserve it! Already shopped her trunk show? Call me and I'll treat you to free shipping as a thank you for coming back for more!

    Hello Fabulous Ladies! I cannot wait to meet you at _____, but had to reach out NOW so you didn't miss out on these amazing steals and deals in Stella & Dot's Trunk show exclusives happening today and tomorrow only. Shop through ____'s trunk show link: and grab this style for a steal before it sells out or goes back to full price on Halloween. Think holiday gifts for teachers, coworkers, your hair girl, nieces, neighbors, hard to shop for MILs, etc. Then shop for yourself when we have a blast at _____'s trunk show and shipping's on me when you place an second order there.

  4. Post some amazing pics that feature one of your favorite items. Tag customers who have bought it in the past! Then FB msg them and say "Bet you get tons of compliments when you wear your _____ and though you might want to scoop one up as a gift or share this deal with a friend who would love a little style for a steal xo Missy

  5. Search your order history for anyone who has ordered an item in the past and send out an email with the same wording as #4.

  6. Reach out to MEN with specific suggestions!

    Hey Chris - If you are anything like my husband or brother, you love when "a little bird" suggests some great gifting ideas. My top picks:
    Your mom - The Etoile Earrings
    Your Secretary - The Mercer Wallet with a gift card for dinner
    Your wife - The portia bracelet
    Your daughter: The scarf and love bracelet
    Your MIL - The Demi Earrings

  7. Reach out to all of your busy mama friends and tell them to check those teachers and coaches and babysitters off their holiday shopping list - scoop up a bunch of love bracelets, demi earrings, and wishing bracelets and let their kids choose which they will give to these special gals in their life. FB msg them or send a text!

  8. Peek at wish lists - anyone who has any wallet, scarf, the petra, a friendship bracelet, the madison tech in poppy or of course any of the items in the actual sale - reach out to them with a text or FB msg saying "I know you have some fabulous pieces on your Stella & Dot wish list - so thought you might be interested in some of these steals and deals, too!   9. Email/text/msg ALL of your past hostesses with these deals - She is a Stella Lover and is a great one to spread the word for you about helping them finish their gift shopping!

  10. Take 20 sec of courage to do ANY of the above but with a phone call! Imagine how delighted she will be that you personally reached out!

TIP #1
I just had a potential say she was TOO BUSY before the HOLIDAYS to have a show..."crazy!" I told her I totally understand and let her know that even better she could be my debut hostess for Jan and I sent her this beautiful picture. I offered her Jan 16th or 18th and she took the 16th! Everyone will be ready for some "friend" time!!

TIP #2
Who are your BFF's?? They are the perfect hostess for January! You and your friends will have had their FILL with their family and will be ready for some GIRL time!!! Who of your BFF's can your reach out to?

TIP #3
Saw this picture on Instagram our amazing CEO wearing this gorgeous new piece. (see pic below) Let's Share It!! I LOVE this necklace, it looks so delicate and feminine!! Never have seen anything like it!!

I just printed out Jessica's on an 8 by 11 paper orientating it so it only prints as a 5X7. I printed out 10 of them and will be writing a note on the bottom of it. Here are some words to say.

"Hi Sara!! Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving!! I just saw this sneak peak of our CEO and Founder with her gorgeous little daughter and I thought of You! This line doesnt release until January but I thought of you as my debut hostess. Ill give you a call in a few days to see what you think! Chat soon. XOXO, Beth"

TIP # 4.
Did you know you can host twice a Calendar Year! You can! Having your sample sale and spring debut in January can propel you in filling Feb too!

Tip #5
DOT DOLLARS!! I have already booked mine in the system (used the dummy email for Wed January 7th. Why did I do this NOW? So I can invite all of my November customers that have earned them as well as my December Customers. Where am I having it? My home of course!! Can't wait to shop with these gals again when they swing by to redeem them!!
