Weekly chorus rehearsals begin this Wednesday (1/25) at 8:10am for grades 4&5.
******************************************************
On January 18th, Hunterdon Central hosted our 2nd district wide choral festival including all 5th through 8th grade students from our four sending districts. The middle school students performed with their prospective schools and then combined with the high school choirs for a culminating concert of nearly 300 voices. Our students enjoyed working with so many of our former DTS students and with Dr. Nick McBride who is director of Choral Activities at TCNJ. They also enjoyed a luncheon courtesy of generous donations from Shoprite, Buffalo Wild Wings, Capuano and Hunterdon Central parents. PiE also generously contributed to offset our costs. We hope this is an event we can continue annually to keep our students singing. Music is alive and well in our district!
Middle School Play

8th Grade Parents and Guardians will have a lot of information shared with them throughout the rest of the year. To make it easier, this information will all be in one location below.

Faculty Grants
REMINDER TO ALL FACULTY AND STAFF- PiE Faculty Grants are being Accepted
As we do each year, DTS PiE invites you to apply for a Faculty Grant for funds to support events, projects, etc; that enrich the education of the children of DTS. Requests should have a direct and meaningful impact on the educational experience of the students in our school. They should not only be enriching, but also memorable, lasting and enhance the academic curriculum while not conflicting with any policy procedures; as well as have a broader benefit to the school. If you have a great idea for funding and aren’t sure how to start or if even a possible funding opportunity, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to working with you! More information and a request form are included.
Note To School
- Tired of writing notes to the school when your child needs to stay after school or is being signed out early?
- PiE has just the answer - a notepad with the key data points the school needs already pre-printed and organized. Simply fill in your personal data and send along with your child.
- Reach out to dtspie@gmail.com to order yours. One pad is $3; two pads for $5.
ShopRite Gift Card Program
- Do you shop at ShopRite? Help us earn money all year long by simply buying gift cards from PiE. Register for your increment using the form found here: https://dtspie.com/support-pie-donate/
- How it works - you register using the form, each month, you will receive the gift card increment (for example $100), and then you write a check to PiE for the $100. Super simple and if you shop at ShopRite, it doesn’t cost you anything more or less!!
- PiE makes 5% on every gift card purchase so that same $100, earns PiE $5.
Amazon Smile & Shutterfly
- Do you already shop at Amazon or Shutterfly? For information on how you can link to PiE and PiE will earn funds from your purchases go to this link: https://dtspie.com/amazon-smiles/
