Early life
Have you ever wondered about Theodore Roosevelt’s life? Here are some things about him. Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27, 1858 in New York City. His siblings were Anna, Elliott and Corinne. A job he had before he was a president was working on a ranch as a cowboy. He was also named assistant secretary of the navy in 1897. Theodore Roosevelt went to Harvard University. He first married Alice Hathaway Lee then he married Edith Crow Roosevelt. Then they had Alice, Theodore, Ethel, Kermit, Archibald and Quintin.
Presidency
Then Theodore Roosevelt became president in 1901. In 1909 he said, “Believe you can and you’re halfway there”. He was also president number 26. An important event Theodore had in his life was in 1897 he was named assistant secretary of the navy. Theodore died in 1919 on January 6th at his home in Oyster Bay.
Fun facts
How he died was he went to Brazil to see the river of Doubt and he got jungle fever and prematurely aged. My opinion on my president is he was very friendly because he plays with his children and he gets together with his family and friends. He also won the Nobel Peace Prize because he negotiating peace between Russia and Japan.
