Come and join us for our "Football Party" on Sunday, February 7 @ 5pm. Cory Martin will be making homemade Chili and is asking you to help with the fix'in to go with it. You can bring your favorite 'football snack", Fritos, dips, cheese, tamales, and especially desserts.

Grow Team

Our Lenten Prayer Series this year is Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge by Mark Batterson and will begin on Ash Wednesday, Feb 20. Please join us in the daily devotionals to deepen your faith during this Holy Season. A copy can be purchased at your local bookstore.

Resource Team

We are very excited about all of the great ideas presented at our Mission House Meeting on Sunday. We received various suggestions and will be researching the possibilities of carrying out some of them. A report of our results will be forthcoming very soon.

CONNECT TEAM

February is our "Helpful Hearts" donation month for our Children's Ministry. Please take a heart(s) from the board in the Narthex, purchase the supply on it and donate it in the box in the Narthex.

SERVE TEAM

We will be packing "backpack" lunches for 20 students at East End Prep School at our 4th Wednesday Supper 'n Serve dinner on Feb 24th. Please join us for good food and fellowship as we work together.

Worship Team

We are very happy to welcome Mark Hagewood as our new Minister of Music. He is a lifelong United Methodist, born and raised in Inglewood. After receiving his B.A. in Church Music, he received a Master/s Degree in Church Music from Belmont University. He is currently the Financial Administrative Coordinator at Belmont UMC. Mark lives in Bellevue with his wife, Rachel (Britt) and their three year old son, Lucas.

We continue to pray for Billye Willette who is undergoing chemo treatment, Joyce Yates in Trevecca Rehab, Jim Atwell who is home recovering from colon surgery, Helen Neely at McKendree Rehab with a broken pelvis, Cory Martin family, George Lesley in Vanderbilt Hospital, Margaret Echols cancer, and Ernest Goens.
