Week of May 16th...

Reading: Continuing our nonfiction research. Analyzing different types of text structures (Main Idea, Sequential, Cause & Effect, Compare & Contrast, and Question & Answer) Test on text structures on Tuesday 3/17.

Writing: Review of narrative and information/text dependent writing genres. Creative poetry writing.

SC History: SS Weekly 23 - 24 - Students will explain South Carolina's transportation and communication systems and learn about our state's yearly festivals. Check agenda for test dates

Math: Chapter 15: Volume and Mass. Quiz 15.4-15.5 on Tuesday 5/17 and Test Topic 15 on Thursday, 5/19. Packet Topic 15 is also due on 5/19. Ice Cream tests are Tuesday 5/17- 7's and Thursday 5/19- 8's.

Science: Surviving in Habitats And Adaptations (chapter 1, Lesson 4 and chapter 2). Please study the vocabulary and handouts in the interactive notebook daily and Quizlet. Test on Friday, 5/20.
