NEW PROGRAM FROM THE GVRA
HELPS SSI/SSDI RECIPIENTS FIND WORK
The Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program (WIPA)
The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) has a new way to help Georgians with disabilities obtain, regain, or maintain self-supporting employment. The Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program (WIPA) educates and aids individuals on SSI or SSDI who want to work and gain self- sufficiency, working with individuals to provide information, analysis and assistance on how employment will impact Social Security and state benefits. Work Incentives Navigator, Zimma Mercer-Drake from the Statesboro office will visit to tell us more about the program and to answer your questions.
