REHEARSAL THIS WEEK
This week's rehearsal schedule. Note to parents: Please do NOT drive down the fire lane near the band room for drop off and pick up. This is a safety concern as students will be pushing instruments and equipment in and out of those doors.
Monday - No rehearsal for anyone
Tuesday - Winds 3:30pm-6pm; Percussion 6pm-9pm
Wednesday - Color Guard 6pm-9pm
Thursday - Full Ensemble 6pm-9pm (Stadium Night 8:30pm-9pm)
Friday - Full Ensemble 3:30pm-6pm
Saturday - No rehearsal for anyone

THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS
We are also looking for 1-3 parents willing to be "Pit Boss" for football games and contests. This person will be the point person at each event and help assign volunteers to push instruments and speakers on and off the field. Please email Jenny Banks at president@hsehsbands.com if this is something you are interested in.
SHOW SHIRTS AND SPIRIT WEAR AVAILABLE UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
The store for purchasing show shirts and RCG spiritwear will close Sunday, August 28. Students do like having show shirts from each season and RCG gear to wear to school and after performing at contests.
DOUBLE GOOD POPCORN UPDATE
ALTERNATIVE PE CREDIT DUE THIS FRIDAY
Students who participate in Marching Band or Color Guard can earn one PE Credit by participating in the Alternative PE Program.
Students must use their school logon to complete the application form that is due by 3:00 PM on Friday, September 2nd. Questions should be directed to Coach Moore at jmoore@hse.k12.in.us.

BUDDY BAGS - CONTEST DAYS
FAN PLEDGE FUNDRAISER
We are launching a Fan-Pledge Fundraiser, which allows us to generate donations from our network of fans. This fundraiser has been incredible for many groups in the area, and we are excited about this year. We ask each member to gather 20 email addresses and phone numbers of family, friends, and potential donors willing to support our campaign. Your contacts are strictly private and protected and never sold or shared. We will only use them for this fundraiser and nothing further. Members will be contacting loved ones and friends during a 40- minute Live Campaign on August 16. Fans will have the opportunity to make a pledge to their favorite participant and leave a message of encouragement. This fundraiser will allow us to generate funds in a short amount of time without all the volunteer hours. It is important that every member participates in helping us reach our goal. Please make a great effort to get 20 unique email addresses and phone numbers as soon as possible.

CREW CARWASH FUNDRAISER
Entire Month of August 2022
Beginning August 1, HSE HS Bands is partnering with Crew Carwash to offer a Car Wash Fundraiser to help raise funds for the band program this year. Be sure to visit the Crew Carwash website and purchase an e-wash and Crew will donate 50% of the proceeds from every e-wash purchased to HSE HS Bands.
