A Message from Our Principal

Good afternoon,

What a wonderful first week of school. Welcome to our new students and families!

We began with a prayer service in the school library with our returning and new students. We ended the service in song. Thanks to all the parents who were able to attend.

We attended Mass on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was special because our Mother, Mary, was the first Christian, and said ‘YES’ to God and gave birth to Jesus. We, too, need to say YES when God asks us to lead others closer to His son, Jesus.

I ask that all be very vigilant during the carline pickup time. It has always been my worst dream to have someone hurt during pickup time. The carline will become more comfortable as we progress through the week and year. For safety purposes, I encourage all to remain in your vehicles for pickup, stay off of your cellphones, and be mindful of your surroundings.

We have new main entry doors. We are waiting for the remote door openers in order that they are ready to go. Thank you for your patience.

Thanks to the Home and School Association (HSA) for sponsoring the Back-to-School Bash and KONA Ice. Thanks, also, to our local Knights of Columbus for the popcorn

Holy Family Catholic School continues to be blessed by our families and community. With your support and prayers, we will have another faith-filled school year.

Thank you.

Peace in Christ,

Dr. John Shreve
