Upcoming: For the Love of Reading March 1-March 5

Hello AEA SV families!


We are having some chilly and snowy weather! Although I do enjoy the winter, I'm ready to change my thoughts to sunnier days. Something that always cheers me up is reading a good book.


Soon we will be having a spirit week for the love of reading! Your teachers will be bringing new joy to reading and your students will hopefully have a lot of fun. Here's some more information about the Love of Reading Spirit Week of March 1-5. (Not next week, the week after)


  • Monday, March 1: Silly or Funny Day
    • Wear something silly or funny
    • Tell lots of jokes! Read something silly too.
  • Tuesday, March 2: Rhyming Day
    • Have an outfit that rhymes (cat & hat anyone?) -No actual cats allowed at school
      • Here's some ideas: Angora fedora, packs and slacks, barrettes and sweats, felt belt, boots and suits, bows on your clothes
    • Read your favorite book with rhymes or poetry
  • Wednesday, March 3: Reading is Great!
    • Read a book that celebrates books or read your favorite book
    • Wear your favorite color (or colors)
  • Thursday, March 4: Cultures day
    • Read a story about a culture different than your own
    • Wear something to represent your culture or your hometown
  • Friday, March 5: Sports Day
    • Wear an outfit related to your favorite sports team or game
    • Read and learn about an athlete

Yearbook Orders -NOW OPEN!

College Credit Plus

Students in Grades 6-12 may be eligible to participate in Ohio's College Credit Plus program to earn free and early college credit. Learn more by reading here or attending the 7 p.m. virtual informational CCP meeting via Zoom on March 8th or March 10th.

College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Meeting -Option 1

Monday, March 8th, 7pm

This is an online event.

Parent attendance at this meeting (or the meeting on March 10) is required for any student who may participate in the College Credit Plus (CCP) program during the 2021/2022 school year. Students in grades 6-12 may be eligible to participate. This informational CCP meeting is a duplicate of the meeting occurring on March 10th.

2021/2022 Kindergarten Registration

It's that time of year! If you or someone you know are interested in enrolling your child for the 2021-2022 school year for Kindergarten, please come to Kindergarten Registration! Both AEA Strongsville and AEA North Olmsted offer Kindergarten programs. Sign up for the event for more information.

Virtual Kindergarten Registration

Saturday, Feb. 27th, 12pm

This is an online event.

If you or someone you know are interested in Kindergarten for the Fall of 2021 please attend our virtual event!


2021-2022 Bussing for Berea Residents

If you live inside of the Berea City School District and would like your student to be bussed to school next school year then please download this form and submit it to the email address on the form.


You must turn these forms in by March 20th. If we have enough students signed up for bus service then rides should resume from Berea next school year!
