Alice in Wonderland
Year 3 have worked hard this week on an art project for Lockwood's in Ripon and the final result is magnificent. Lockwood's asked primary schools to produce a piece of artwork to celebrate Ripon's link with Lewis Carol and his Alice in Wonderland book. The pieces of artwork are going to be put together to create a large scale mural which will be on permanent display on a wall outside Lockwood's.
Year 2 Worship

Dancing shoes at the ready!
If you are reading this on Friday before the disco – join us for some dancing fun… if you are reading this after Friday – we hope you had a great night at the School Disco!
Remember nursery and reception parents will need to stay during the disco.
We will let you know next week how much we raised towards our fundraising total for the year.
Ripon Cathedral Christmas Fair
The school will be selling wonderful Christmas potted flowers on Saturday 21st November at the Cathedral Christmas Food and Gift Fair. Come along and support the school with a Christmas purchase and support our historic Cathedral at the same time – entry is £2.50 per adult and all children are free. Some of the school choir will be singing in the Cathedral on the day too!
Your help is needed for the School Christmas Fair......
The Christmas Raffle tickets have arrived. £1 a ticket and the top prize is £100 with many other vouchers and gifts to win!
You will find a booklet in your child’s book bag this week to buy or sell to friends and relatives. Please bring any money and stubs into school – the draw is at the Christmas Fair on 3rd December - Wishing you lots of winning luck!
Preparation for the School Christmas Fair
Thursday 19th Nov and Monday 23rd November 9am – 10am. Can you help at school for an hour? We need volunteers to help fill sweetie jars, sort out tombola prizes and wrap presents. Please meet in the school reception to help out.
We still need donations of wrapped sweets, bottles of wine/ beer, tombola prizes for the Fair – please bring into school as soon as you can for us to prepare them.
Help at the Fair
Finally, can you and a friend help run a stall at the Fair? We need parents to help run games for the children – if you pair up with a friend it is a lot of fun and you have a chance to look around too! Please let Tina Salden, Katy O’Malley, a member of the Friends committee or the School office know if you can help.
A huge THANK YOU in anticipation of all your help and support in making this year's Fair a great success.
