Step 3: Proceed to the technology insurance form and payment table

Step 4: Proceed to the technology device table to pickup your technology device

Accepting New Scholar Applications

Trix Academy is accepting new scholar applications. If you are aware of a family who is searching for a safe, nurturing and educationally focused school, please call the office at (313) 426-1020 or visit http://trix.mecc-academies.org for enrollment information.

School Begins September 8, 2020

The first day of school is September 8, 2020. We are very anxious and excited to see all of our returning and new scholars. As a friendly reminder, all parents or guardians are able to choose the environment your scholar(s) will learn. The first choice is to send your scholar(s) two days a week for in person instruction and the remaining days of the week online or the second choice is for your scholar(s) to learn online 5 days a week. Please note, if your child(ren) remain home, he/she will still receive live, up to the minute instruction. This is very beneficial as it is similar to being in the actual classroom. If you are concerned with your scholar attending in-person, please note the second choice is available. If you have any questions, please call the office at (313) 426-1020 or email Ms. Coleman at d.coleman@mecc-academies.org.

Safety Precautions

Trix Academy has always ensured our scholars learn in a safe and clean environment. During the 2020-2021 school year, Trix Academy has added additional procedures and routines to help ensure our scholars continue to learn in a clean environment. New practices include:

  • Smaller classroom sizes
  • Temperature check performed prior to anyone entering the building
  • Various doors being used to streamline the arrival and dismissal process allowing for social distancing
  • An increased number of hand sanitizer dispensers being visible in each classroom as well as other places throughout the building,
  • Additional times to disinfect classrooms using highly effective EMist machines
  • Requirement of face coverings for all individuals
