Most of the architects time is in the office spending time with clients, and designing structures. Also, they spend a good bit of time out of the landscape preparing and measuring to make sure that everything is good to go and there is no set backs.

Some major responsibilities of an architect are to make sure that all the measurements are corrects, and that everything goes smoothly. The projected job growth in 10 years is 17%, so I would say that the demand is okay for the job field.
