The district's Master Facility Planning Committee will present three options to the community beginning in January 2019. Please join us for one of the sessions below. New Lunch Menus App Available

Sycamore Community Schools is launching the new My School Menus app to better serve our students and family. The new app will allow you to view allergens and ingredients as well as nutritional information. It can be found inside the Sycamore Community Schools mobile app or by following the download information below:

GenYes Students Become G Suite Certified Users

Seven GenYes Student Technology Leaders have just become G Suite Certified Users, making them the first-ever Sycamore Schools students to obtain the status. Only 20 students in the nation have obtained this certification.

Congratulations to the following students in grades 5-12:

The G Suite certification exam verifies proficiency in the following features of the G Suite platform: Drive, Gmail, Hangouts Meet, Docs, Sheets, Forms and Slides. By earning G Suite certification, these students proved their ability to use cloud-based tools to create and share documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and files. These students demonstrated that they can communicate effectively with email and online meeting solutions.

Recycle Your Plastic Packaging This Holiday Season

The Sycamore High School Environmental Club is partnering with Trex Recycling to collect and recycle plastic packaging. A collection box has been set up at the front entrance for clean sandwich/storage bags, mailers, bubble wrap, plastic film, shrink wrap, shopping bags, etc.

Sycamore To Host Exhibition On African-American Literature

Maple Dale Elementary is excited to host Telling A People's Story, a Miami University traveling exhibition devoted to the art found within the pages of African-American children's picture books. Students, families and the community are invited to see the exhibition from January 14-February 28. Learn more

Parent Portal Service Fee

To offset the cost of credit card transactions, a $1.00 service fee will be charged for each debit/credit card payment made via Parent Portal beginning February 1, 2019. Contact Beth Weber at with questions.

The Office of Student Services has launched a new Aves Abilities Facebook page. Follow now to find resources and information about special education programming and events happening in the district and Greater Cincinnati area.

Nomination An Outstanding Teacher

The Teachers of Ohio Representing Character and Heart (TORCH) recognition celebrates teachers who model strong character and a heart for their students, colleagues and communities.

A district, school, colleague, parent, student or community member can nominate a teacher for TORCH recognition. Click here to find the nomination form. The form also explains which educators qualify to be nominated.

Consider nominating a teacher that you believe exhibits character and heart. The nomination deadline is Jan. 31.
