Empowering Underrecognized Groups in Career Fields Through Inclusive Education
Chief of Police for Broomfield, Chief Enea Hempelmann, was our keynote speaker for yesterday's EmPWR Day here at Washington Square. She shared her story about how she got to where she is today, gave advice to the students, and answered questions.
EmPWR Day - Inclusiveness in CTE event is an opportunity for students to get hands-on experience in career paths in which many groups have historically been underrepresented. Our instructors partner with industry leaders to present engaging, hands-on workshops.

EmPWR Day was such a great success thanks to all of our volunteers and industry partners that we wanted to extend another opportunity out to those who could not make it.
