What do you love about your job?

What DON'T I love about my job?!! I have the great joy of spending time with students in a variety of settings every single day. I can say it's never dull, and though I know I am sharing important information with them, I feel so lucky to be learning so much from all of them as well!

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, watching sports and cooking.

If you were given one wish what would it be?

I wish everyone had a place to feel loved and respected without judgement.

Also, I'd really like to be a backup singer for a really cool band!

Do you have a favorite quote or mantra?

Be Present. Be Kind. Be Open. Be Together

Senior Project News

On Tuesday seniors met with their panels for the Applied Piece Proposal checkpoint. In this meeting seniors presented their plans for applying their research and received feedback from their panel members. If a senior was marked incomplete for this checkpoint they were given specific instructions as to what they need to do in order for their work to be deemed complete. If students have not passed this checkpoint by the 24th of January they will lose their off-campus privileges. We heard a wide variety of interesting and creative plans for application of research and are excited to see our seniors' final work!

JOIN THE FLOCK!!

Souhegan High School will be participating in the Penguin Plunge February 11th at Hampton Beach to benefit Special Olympics NH. Did you know that Special Olympics strives to create a better world by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people? Through the power of sports, people with intellectual disabilities discover new strengths and abilities. Athletes find joy, confidence, and fulfillment — on the playing field and in life. They inspire their communities to open their hearts to a wider world of human talents and potential. The donations we collect will go to support this important work!

You can get involved in 2 ways:

  1. Join our flock by registering at https://fundraising.sonh.org/event/hs-penguin-plunge and start collecting donations. If you’re not able to make the plunge on Feb 11th in person, you can make the plunge your own with a DIY kit!
