#MoreThanEnough
#MoreThanEnough
This year, NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month with the More Than Enough campaign!
It’s an opportunity for all of us to come together and remember the inherent value we each hold — no matter our diagnosis, appearance, socioeconomic status, background or ability. We want every person out there to know that if all you did was wake up today, that’s more than enough. No matter what, you are inherently worthy of more than enough life, love and healing. Showing up, just as you are, for yourself and the people around you is more than enough.

Congratulations

See Something, Say Something
If you want to submit a See Something, Say Something tip, you can do it right from your laptop or cell phone. Log into your LaunchPad and click the tip icon or report it through the school’s app. Tips can be submitted anonymously if you leave the contact information fields blank but make sure to include enough details – like school, names or classes - so the school can follow up on the tip.
Option two: Need to report a tip to our tip line? Did you know you can do it right from your laptop or phone? Just log into LaunchPad on your laptop or download the school’s app to submit a completely anonymous tip.
The tip line is available in our school’s app or on our website at: https://www.rock-hill.k12.sc.us/site/Default.aspx?PageID=6778
The Arts at RRMS
Congratulations to Mr. Skellett and the Raider Band!!!! This is an amazing honor.
"On behalf of the South Carolina Band Directors Association, it is my pleasure to congratulate the Rawlinson Road Middle School Band on earning the Outstanding Performance Award for the 2022-2023 school year. The OPA is the most prestigious award that SCBDA gives each year to South Carolina band programs. Your school's band program performed at a very high level in all SCBDA events including All-State and Region Band, Concert Performance Assessment, and Solo and Ensemble and earned enough points to be recognized as one of the top bands in the state. Thank you very much for your support of the program and helping them to achieve this level of success."

Yearbooks coming soon!
Only 5 copies of the yearbook left!! We are not guaranteed to have "extras" to sell once distribution begins. Those wanting a yearbook need to place their order ASAP. Orders can still be placed online through the website with a credit card OR by bringing $45 cash or check to Mrs. Bell (room B-125)

Raider Athletics Information
Sports Physicals
Monday, May 8, 2023, Rawlinson Road will offer sports physicals to anyone in grades 6-8 that has intentions to participate in athletics for the 2023-2024 school year. Riverview Medical will have a team of male and female physicians and nurses to come out and perform the sports physicals. The students must have a medical history form filled out completely and signed by and parent, a blank physical form, and $20 cash. If they do not have all three, they will not be allowed to be screened.
During the physical the students' vision will be checked, heart rate, blood pressure, and the students will not remove any clothing, so don't let this take the place of their check-ups from their regular physician. Click the link below to sign your student up for a time slot on Monday for a sports physical.
Sign up for a physical here.
