Sloan Creek Orchestra Newsletter

November 17, 2016

Our next performance is at the Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, December 3rd. The concert will begin with the SCIS orchestra at noon. We will give you more information on what time and where the students need to meet before the concert by next week.

All classes have been working hard on left and right hand technique, improving tone quality with their bows, and note reading. They are continuing to use their Sound Innovations books daily, with their 3 pieces for the concert. We are really looking forward to you hearing how much they have improved in just over a month!

We have so much to be thankful for this year. One of those is having the opportunity to teach these wonderful students. They brighten our day and we love getting to share our love of music with them. We wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving and hope you all enjoy time together this Thanksgiving Holiday!
