Parks public input meetings scheduled
The Town will host two Parks public input meetings facilitated by MHS Planning and Design on Tuesday, Oct. 26 and Wednesday, Oct. 27.
The meetings will be come and go. Please come by anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to share your thoughts about future amenities for Jobson Park, Barnes Bridge Park (Lakefront), Samuell Farm North, and New Hope Park.
Anyone having interest in development at these parks is encouraged to attend and provide feedback. Once complete, MHS Planning and Design will draft conceptual design and amenity plans for each park. The plans will then be presented to 4B and Town Council in December 2021 or January 2022 for approval.
Trunk or Treat
The Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce's second annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, Oct. 29 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Sunnyvale High School parking lot. Check out the Chamber of Commerce's Facebook page to stay up to date!
Save the Date: Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony
Calling all Sunnyvale Veterans! Join us on Thursday, Nov. 11 from 5 - 6 p.m. on the front lawn of Town Hall for a Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony.
Veterans will be presented with a Mayor's challenge coin to thank you for your service.
Turkey Trot
Turkey Trot t-shirt design winner chosen
The Town of Sunnyvale would like to congratulate Aleena Sojan on winning the Turkey Trot t-shirt design contest. Aleena's design received 121 votes and will be displayed on this year’s Turkey Trot t-shirts.
The Town would also like to thank Sunnyvale Middle School Art Teacher Laura Pappas for coordinating the art contest. We had so much fun with this and we hope to make it an annual tradition.

Join us for the third annual Fast and Furriest Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day - Nov. 25, 2021 at Raider Stadium.
The Turkey Trot is a 5K and a 1-mile fun run/walk. Runners are encouraged to begin arriving at 7 a.m. and the race will begin at 7:30 a.m. Registration for the Turkey Trot is free. Click the button above to register. The first 200 to register will receive a medal.
Turkey Trot t-shirts are $25 and proceeds benefit the Sunnyvale Animal Shelter.
***Due to supply chain shortages, t-shirt sales will end earlier than they have in the past.
