Staff Summer Updates

Monday, August 19, Summer Hours Begin
Thursday, August 22 - New Teacher Orientation 9:00 to 11:00
Thursday, August 22 - New Teacher / Mentor Meeting 11:00 to 12:00
Friday, August 23 Portal Opens (Class lists will not be available to after this date)
Wednesday, August 28, New Student Orientation (9:00 to 10:00)
Wednesday, August 28, Open House (10:00 to 12:00)
Tuesday, September 3, Inservice Day at BTES
Thursday, September 5 - 5th & 6th Grade 1 Hour Inservice on eHallpass.
Thursday, September 12, Back to School Night
All staff will have access to the building beginning on Monday August 19. Please remember the following;
- School hours are from 8 - 3:00 p.m. M - Thur.
- Call prior to your visit to ensure that you will have access to your classroom.
- Secretaries and custodians are off limits.
- If you need help with something please ask me or Mr. Waldron.
- If there is something that you do not want in your room please leave in the hallway with a sticker that says free or garbage.
- If there are any second chance items that you want to place in the gym, please do so. A second chance item is something that you no longer wish to have, but would probably be useful for someone else.
Books & Supplies
- All consumbles have been delivered to your classrooms. If there are any books that you need please email Kevin or myself and we will take care of it.
- Any old books that you kept from last year should be discarded - please do not drop them off at the book room. You could also give them out to your students if you wish.
- I will address any necessary orders in September.
- The Weekly Dish (school calendar) for the entire year is current and up to date. If you do not have it, please see Mrs. Ottomanelli.
- This years staff folder will be shared shortly.
- There is no parking in the staff parking lot at this time. The parking lot is still under construction and we are hopeful it will be completed by the end of next week.
- As of today class sizes range from 22 to 24. Students are continuing to move in and placements and updates are done daily. Class lists will be available beginning on Friday, August 23.

Inservice Day
In-service day will be Tuesday, September 3. Rooms being used are 103, 106,109,127,204,209,229,233, and Auditorium. More details will be sent out shortly from Dr. Zito's office.
