Note from the Principal
Welcome to another week. As you know, we love our teachers at St. Mary of the Assumption. Not only are they an incredible asset to our school, but a few of our staff members have been recognized by the Archdiocese and selected to be facilitators during upcoming ADW Professional Development Days. Mrs. Campbell, Ms. DeCesaris, and Mrs. Ruckstuhl were selected based on their leadership ability and willingness to help colleagues be the best they can be in the classroom. They will lead teachers from all 53 Catholic elementary schools in the Archdiocese in discussions about standards based instruction, classroom management, and other important topics. Please join me in congratulating them for this recognition.
Thank you for your efforts in having students arrive on time. We have had a significant decrease in tardies over the past few weeks. As a quick reminder, please do not park in the fire lane in the front of the school at any time. Teachers have been instructed to park in the further parking spaces so there will always be spots available at the front of the school. Leaving your car unattended at any time in a fire lane is illegal and can seriously compromise the safety of our students. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
I hope you have a wonderful week!
