A Weekly Look at Grant Elementary School & the Grant PTA

Week of March 4, 2019

A Message from the Principal:

Dearest Grant Community,

I want to take a moment to share how moved and inspired I am by the outpour of love, compassion, and support from the Grant community in the past few weeks and recent days. On campus, I see students going out of their way to be especially kind one another, parents inquiring about opportunities on how to best support the Azevedo family during this difficult time and staff members checking in on one another and caring for their students.

I am so very proud to be a part of this school community and truly honored to be Ruby and Dante's principal. Thank you to the Avezedo family for your unimaginable strength and grace in the face of such a profound loss.

Chance For the Grant VIP Parking Spot

Grant VIP Parking Spot tickets will be sold Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (March 12th & 13th) before and after school in front of the office. The tickets are $50 each and there are only 50 of them, so your odds of winning are pretty darn good. Winner (selected at the auction - need not be present to win) gets a coveted prime spot in the Grant Staff Parking Lot for the 2019/2020 school year. Say Whaaat? First come first served! Good luck from the Grant PTA!
