COUNSELORS CORNER
Did you know? Students who are interested in a career in graphic design have the ability to certify as an Adobe Associate in Illustrator by taking the Graphic Design CTE track at Combs High School. This certification, earned at the end of the second year, is industry recognized and indicates that the student has an in depth knowledge of illustrator, and has mastered concepts such as setting project requirements, identifying design elements used when preparing graphics, and creating graphics to archive, export, and/or publish to the web, print, or video. Our students have done some really neat projects and even had a hand in helping design our Combs High School brochure!
Upcoming Events:

Opioids Presentation
On Friday, November 22, 2019, Assistant U.S. Attorneys Don Pashayan and Thomas Forsyth, as well as DEA Agent Michael Brown will share potentially life-saving information with Combs High School students about the tragic impact of opioid usage, addiction and the increasing threat of fentanyl in our community. They will share real life examples of local cases in which teenagers and young adults have died after unknowingly ingesting fentanyl and other opioids. Their goal is to empower students with information that can help them avoid the very real threat of opioid usage, addiction and death.
If you do not wish for your student to attend, please have them stop by the counseling office to pick up the opt out form.
