Your child's report card will come home next Friday. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask your child's teacher or check the Spencer web page for rubrics of how it's scored.

The Livingston County Health Department
Students in JK, K, 2nd & 4th grade will receive a hearing screening. Hearing screenings will also be provided to students in other grades who are last-year follow-ups and parent/teacher requests. Spencer's HEARING SCREENING is scheduled for December 10 & 11 and the RESCREENING is scheduled for January 7 & 8, 2019
Please notify the school (prior to the first day of screening) and provide child’s name and teacher if:
You have a concern for your child and your child is not in the above grades.
You do not want your child screened

Popcorn Friday
Tomorrow is Popcorn Friday. Popcorn will be sold at all lunches for $.50. Proceeds benefit the Fourth Grade Farewell. Thanks for your support!
NO PTO Meeting in December
There will not be a December PTO meeting. See you on January 8 at 4:00 pm for our next meeting. Babysitting will be available.
Mod Pizza Night a Success!
Thank you to all who attended our fundraiser night. Our Spencer families raised $583.33!! Way to go Spencer All-Stars!
Holiday Shop Extravaganza
Join us on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8 for the annual holiday gift shop. Hours are 4-7 pm on 12/7 and 10 am - 3 pm on 12/8. Friday will be just the shop and Saturday's extravaganza includes not only the shop, but many other fun holiday activities:
*Girl Scout bake sale benefiting Blessings in a Backpack
*Hot cocoa bar
*Create an ornament to take home
*Book exchange (swap a book for a new one, limit 5)
*Design holiday greeting cards for local seniors in assisted living
*Pictures with our very own holiday Roadrunner
Information packets will arrive home soon. You will have the opportunity to shop with your child or you may choose to have your child shop with a parent volunteer. Either way, please use the envelope included in the packet so we can provide quick and easy checkout. We hope to see you there!

The PTO has some items in new or excellent used condition we'd love to give to a family in need:

Brighton Ford Holiday Window Painting
Each year, area elementary schools are invited by Brighton Ford to paint their showroom windows for the holidays. Spencer's night is December 5th from 4:30-7:00. Only students are able to paint windows, but parents are required to stay to supervise their kids. PLEASE wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and dress warm as this event is outside. While the event is open to all students, we have to limit the participation to a small number in different time slots. As you can imagine, the event could become quite chaotic if too many kids show up at one time. Sign up using the sign up genius:
