A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
I hope you are all having a nice weekend. I'm very excited for the first live play performance, put on by Mr. Zielinski and his cast of Paddock students this Friday night and Saturday afternoon, in nearly 3 years. They have put so much work into this production and I can't wait to see it! Thursday afternoon, K-6 students will have an assembly to see the first act of the play.
As a reminder, this Tuesday, November 8th, there is no school due to election day.
Have a great week-
Jason Christ
Principal

Cold and Flu
Cold and flu season is upon us! To prevent widespread illness in school, we recommend that your child stay home from school if experiencing flu or cold symptoms. Please consider the following guidelines when deciding to keep your child home:
- Very stuffy or runny nose and/or a cough
- Mild sore throat (no fever, no known exposure to strep)
- Headache
- Mild stomach ache
- Chills
- General feeling of fatigue, discomfort, weakness or muscle ache
- Fever (greater than 100 degrees by mouth. Your child may return to school only after his or her temperature has been consistently below 100 degrees, by mouth, for a minimum of 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications)
- Vomiting (even once)
- Diarrhea
- Frequent congested (wet) or croupy cough
- Shortness of breath
- Lots of nasal congestion with frequent blowing of nose
Thank you for your help in keeping Paddock a healthy place for all students.
Dropping Off Student Items
Winter Wishes
Winter Wishes is a program that, in the past, has shown the unbelievable generosity from our community to make sure all our Paddock students have clothing, books, toys and winter out wear.
This year, we are asking for gym shoes new or “gently used “, shoe laces, leggings (all sizes); sweat pants for boys-all sizes, girl size underwear (size 12-16, not adult underwear), socks for boys and girls (plain-black, white, and grey) and mostly gift cards. For gift cards, any amount is welcome but denominations of $25 and under are most helpful. Gift cards can be brought to or mailed to the main office or turned into your student’s teacher. Items will also be collected at Paddock School. There is a labeled bin in the vestibule at the main door. Collections will begin November 2nd and will end December 7th.
Thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please contact Susan Liss.
