Thought for the Day
We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.

Letter from the Principal
Dear Families,
I hope you had a terrific vacation. I snuck in several snowshoe hikes, tennis, and walks with friends as well as a few virtual events, one on climate change (Bill Gates) and one on Matisse. I definitely needed a reset this week and suspect that you may have needed one too. For me, the most joy I felt was walking in the town park and seeing the children sledding and skating and laughing. Is there a better sound than children's laughter?
This week, Cohort C will attend school on Wednesday. We're looking forward to more in person learning. To give the teachers the maximum time with students on Wednesday, there will be a change in schedules for many of the teachers. In general, you can expect that the students at home will engage in a morning meeting with the class, followed by mostly independent work and then a closing meeting. I know this is a change and it will benefit students substantially in their learning.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Karen
