Adams Wear Spring Swap at the Carnival
Have an Adams t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, or hoodie you’d like to donate or swap for a new size?
This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to donate or swap out a gently used royal blue Adams shirt or hoodie for another gently used one at no cost (perhaps in a larger size for the next school year)! Please clean your shirts prior to donating or swapping. If you can’t make it to the Carnival on May 17th, we’ll have a donation/swap box available in the office through the remainder of the school year. Orders for new Adams Wear will be available again next fall. Questions? Contact ktfish12@gmail.com. See you at the Carnival!
Magnets and Cards Fundraiser - Deadline Extended
Order forms for magnets and cards were sent home with your child last week. It features a unique picture of one of your children’s artwork made during class with Mrs. Sanders. You can order as many magnets and cards of your child’s art piece as you want. Magnets make great gifts, and cards are wonderful for thank you notes.
If you would like to order some, please turn the form in by next Wednesday, May 22nd.
Thank you for supporting APT!
Spring Direct Donation Drive Update
Awesome job, Alligators!
We wrapped up our Direct Donation Drive this week with a last minute sprint to the finish and we were able to raise $4,677!
That means, we are able to fund:
- Online math programs such as Reflex Math (Cost $3,500)
- New supplies and decorations for the two classrooms being added for next year ($1,177 of the $1,250 requested)
Prizes from the prize box have been distributed before and after school each day this week and envelopes were handed out to students today containing their tickets for the popcorn, carnival, and dunk tank incentives. Make sure students bring these tickets with them to the carnival tonight so they don't miss out on the prizes they have earned!
If you have any questions, you can send them to Jenny Stickland at Jennifer.stickland@yahoo.com.
Thank you so much for all of your support and for making this such a successful drive!
We LOVE Adams!

PE and Wellness
PE NEWS
We are starting three week of track and field. I mentioned to the older students that T/F is a no-cut sport in middle and high school, and has something for everyone: sprints, distance, hurdles, throws, jumps. We began each lesson with a competitve/cooperative "flip the disk" game. Students learned some "dynamic warm-ups" to prepare for an event or practice. Then, they rotated through five stations: starts, sprints, high jump, long jump, and hurdles.
