Face-to-Face Learning Begins Tomorrow
Please remember that only students who chose face-to-face as the instructional setting during the registration process will be returning to campus on Wednesday, September 9th. Our face-to-face school day starts at 7:40 am.
If you chose remote learning as the instructional setting during registration, your child will remain at home and continue with the remote learning schedule. We are unable to accommodate requests for a change at this time.
Students need to bring the IPAD and charger, pencils, map pencils, markers, spiral or composition book, backpack and a water bottle. Remember to bring a lunch if you are not buying lunch from the cafeteria.

Morning Car Drop-Off
Please remember that students may not exit vehicles in the morning until you have pulled up to a staff member that is stationed by a cone. The staff member will check your child's temperature before allowing him/her to exit the vehicle. If your child has a temperature of 100.0 or higher, the staff member will give you the option to take your child home or ask you to pull around to the back and have the nurse do a second check. This will help keep our car rider drop-off line running smoothly.
Thank you so much for your understanding as we work together to ensure that our students and staff stay healthy!
Breakfast and Lunch Menu
Students will still have the opportunity to purchase breakfast and/or lunch from the cafeteria if needed. The menu for the month of September is below.
Please visit the Lago Vista ISD School Nutrition website for information about our breakfast and lunch program, applications for Free and Reduced meals, and My School Bucks. My School Bucks is a great way to deposit money into your child's account and be able to monitor what he/she is purchasing. This eliminates the need to send money to school with your child.

Counselor's Corner
Social Emotional Learning Lesson
This week our SEL Social Emotional Lesson will focus on respect. We look at what respect looks like at school, in the home and in the community. I will use book, short video clips and games to teach/review respect. This is a skill that will be useful to all students. One book that illustrates respect is titled What if Everybody Did That?
https://youtu.be/Ht00R7OOv0o 4 minutes, 19 seconds
In the story, we see some examples of disrespectful behavior that helps us to remember what respect feels and looks like.
