MONTESSORI PRESENTATION NIGHTS

A Highlight of the Year!

R students sure sparkle as they take the lead and show parents and visitors the magic of the Montessori materials! We are so proud of R "student teachers!" Visit R Facebook page to see more magical moments captured this week during Montessori Nights.

Name That Book

In our twice a year Name That Book contest, teams of students in 4th-8th grade from varied reading groups compete to identify quotes from the books they have read. The teamwork, competition, and knowledge of literature is amazing to see as students show remarkable recall of over fifteen books per semester. Well done, readers!

Gaining INSIGHT with Ripple Effects

R students have been becoming more aware of their emotions, how they affect their thoughts and actions, and how to self-regulate. Gaining insight is an important skill for building self-confidence, self-esteem, and empathy for others. This level of self-awareness helps students recognize their own strengths and areas of growth and become confident in their ability to learn and grow. The research documenting the impact of Social-Emotional Learning is compelling and we are proud to have always had SEL curriculum as a foundational component of a Renaissance Academy education.

HURRAY! It's that time of year - CLUBS are here!!

Club Days, which run from January - April, are another opportunity for hands-on, experiential, out-of-the-box learning at Renaissance Academy! Students choose a club that sparks their interest, delving into a new area of study or exploring more deeply something they are already passionate about. There's lots more to see from Club Days on R Facebook page.
