A Note From Mr. Koder
All-Star Parents,
This is a great week to tell you all THANK YOU for all of your continued support as Anderson parents. As we enter this Thanksgiving season, I am so thankful to work with such a supportive community. Thank you for trusting your kids to us. We have a great group of teachers who are all in on teaching your kids and I know that they are thankful for your support as well. As we enter this week-long break, we hope that you all have a chance to rest and recharge. You and your students deserve it. Also, if you have a chance, send your child’s teacher a note of Thanksgiving this week. They have worked so hard this school year and a little thank you note would go a long way.
Please take a minute to look through the newsletter for important school information.

Notes from the Nurse
- If your student is running a fever over 100.0, vomiting, or diarrhea, they must remain out of school for at least 24 hours following the last episode. Please call Anderson at 972-396-6924 and let us know and we will ask more information about symptoms. We are still monitoring for COVID symptoms, if your student develops new or worsening respiratory symptoms please keep them home.
- Students returning after an illness that has been seen by a doctor, please have the doctor write a diagnosis and send in the note to excuse the absence.
- Please send a change of clothes for K-2 in their backpack in case they have an accident at school.
- Please notify the nurse if your student tests positive for COVID and please keep them home.
- Students must stay home if they have pending COVID tests results.
Please contact Nurse Teri with any questions. We are looking forward to having a happy and healthy school year!
