2020-21 West AP Test Registration
Procedures for West students - Oct. 19 - Nov 6th, 2020
Step 1: Total Registration
Goal: Create a student account including parent information, declare AP exam(s) to be taken, and pay online.
- Go to www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/502417 and create a student account.
- Designate exams to be taken.
- Pay online via credit/debit card or mail a check to Total Registration. Payment options are:
- Pay in full ($98/exam) by November 6th, 2020
- Pay a $40/exam nonrefundable deposit + $2.75 processing fee by November 6th. Balances due by March 5th ($58/exam + $2.75 processing fee)
A Note about extra fees
Note: Due to the uncertainty of this year, the College Board has waived the $40 cancelation fee. If you register and pay for your AP exams by November 6th but later decide to cancel your test, you will receive a full refund.
However, any AP registrations after November 6th will be charged an additional $40 late fee for a total cost of $138/exam.
Step 2: College Board
Goal: Designate your intentions for testing and receive test scores in July 2021
- Go to myap.collegeboard.org and choose YES or NO for taking the AP test. This must be done for every class by November 6th, 2020.
- In July 2021, this is where you will see your scores and request scores be sent to colleges.
Both steps MUST be completed during the registration window Oct. 19 - Nov. 6, 2020 to avoid a $40/exam late fee
