Shelby County Conservation District is offering a $1000.00 scholarship to a senior that is planning to attend college or The University of Kentucky to study agriculture or environmental subjects with a high school GPA of 2.5 or above.

Shelby County Community members Mike and Betsy Miller is offering a $1000.00 scholarship to a Male or Female senior that has been accepted and will be attending Murray State University in the fall. Please stop by guidance and see Mrs. Purdom for details.
The Shelby KY Tourism & Visitors Bureau Scholarship:
Application Deadline: April 13, 2018
The ShelbyKY Tourism & Visitors Bureau Scholarship is designed to assist a Shelby County student who intends to pursue a postsecondary degree in tourism/hospitality, communications or advertising/marketing degree and have a career in Shelby County. The scholarship will be awarded to pay tuition toward a degree at an accredited institution.
The number of students awarded and the amounts of each scholarship will be determined by a committee of the Shelby County Tourism Commission and will be based upon the amount of money in the Scholarship Fund. Scholarship stipends are paid to the institution one time at the beginning of the first term and are non-renewable. The scholarship must be used during the year for which it was presented, or it will be awarded to an alternate applicant.

The students must meet this following criteria:

Applicant must have an ACT minimum composite score of 24 or SAT minimum score of 1090.

Applicant must have a weighted GPA of 3.50 or above.

Applicant must plan to pursue a career in the area of mathematics or science.

Alpha Lota Chapter of Aloha Delta Kappa Soroity:
The Alpha Lota Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority Susan Fields Scholarship and Eleanor Busey Scholarship is available in guidance.
The Eleanor Busey scholarship is a $2000.00 scholarship for any senior girl who plans to pursue a degree in education and meets the established criteria.
The Susan Fields scholarship is a $2000.00 scholarship for any senior girl or boy who plans to pursue a degree in education and meets the established criteria.
Application deadline is noon on Wednesday, April 18th! PLEASE STOP BY GUIDANCE AND PICK UP AN APPLICATION.
CHS Athletic Booster Club Scholarship:
CHS ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIP 2018
The Collins High School Athletic Booster Club is a voluntary group committed to
supporting all CHS athletes with school spirit and encouragement. In addition, the
Booster Club provides financial support to all CHS athletic teams in purchasing items
not included in the Athletic Department’s budget as well as sponsoring special athlete
related programs. Funds are obtained through individual, family, and business
memberships as well as concession/spirit wear sales, and other special events.
The Booster Club will award two $1000 scholarships to be given to
one (1) deserving male student athlete and one (1) deserving female
student athlete.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Louisville Agricultural Club will award three college scholarships for the current school year. The scholarships awarded are as follows: Kamin Family Scholarship, Corley Brown Memorial Scholarship and Charles Keen Memorial Scholarship. All three are for $4000 each, spread over four years.
Scholarships can be applied to school-related expenses such as tuition, room, board, books, fees and supplies, etc. Payments are made directly to the student, annually, after grades are verified. RECIPIENTS OF THE AWARDS MUST REMAIN IN AN AG OR AG RELATED MAJOR TO CONTINUE RECEIVING FUNDS.
