DARE Graduation

Central's 5th grade completed another round of DARE training and were rewarded by a fun day with Officer Bailey and Officer Richey!

Field Day Fun!

Thank you to Ms. Royalty and all of the parent volunteers that helped make Field Day a success! Everyone got a little wet and had a ton of fun! We even got a visit from some very special people that we have not seen in awhile.

Goodbye and Good Luck to Our 5th Grade!

“Diligence is the mother of good luck.” -Benjamin Franklin Today was a day to celebrate six years of hard work and overcoming the hardships of a global pandemic. Central fifth graders took advantage of the beautiful day and were delivered to their last day of school by honking parents and local first responders’ bells and whistles. PTO and parent donations enabled us to spend the day playing and eating at Cedars. It was truly a spectacular day of celebrating all of their diligent work!

Work Ethic Certification Recipients

As part of the LCSC Career Engagement initiative, students in the 5th, 8th and 12th grades have the opportunity to earn the PRIDE Work Ethic Certification. This certificate is a way for students to demonstrate that they possess the employability and character skills needed to be successful not only at school but also when they enter post-secondary institutions, apprenticeships, the military, or the workforce. Students receiving the PRIDE WEC are measured in areas of academic and work ethic competency. Congratulations to the following Central Work Ethic Certification Recipients; Ace Goodnight, Tula Heath, Adalyn Henson, Simon Kyker, William LaGrange, Jillian Pollock, Vivian Ray, Lewis Shepherd, Lyla Susong, Mya Walters, and Claire Wilhoite.

Mrs. Moyer Celebrates a Budding Author

Spencer has worked on writing his own book all year. He shared this book with Mrs. Moyer’s class and she was so impressed! Spencer had a great idea and asked if he could add it to the Central library. She made it happen, fancy print job and all! We’re so thankful for Mrs. Moyer and so proud of Spencer!

Central Helps Clean Up Lebanon
