Found Poem: Pride and Prejudice

Found Poem

She stared

Doubted and silent.

He spoke well

Was not more eloquent on the subject of tenderness

But there were feelings.

Of the family obstacles

Inferiority and degradation.

In spite of her deeply-rooted dislike

She could not be insensible.

He felt and had long felt for her.

He dwelt.

He was wounding.

She stared.
