Browne Grade 7 science students went on a walk to pick up litter in their schoolyard. Some students even insisted on going out in the rain! They collected data on the types of trash they found, sorted the items into categories, hypothesized where the trash is coming from, and modeled how it can get from Chelsea into a sea animal's belly. Next week, they will connect their data to an inquiry lab on "Plastics in the Ocean."
