Preschool - 5th Grade
We're so excited to welcome back our Crestmoor Canyon families to our Fall Festival! Students from Preschool through 5th grade had a blast participating in activities such as crafts, pumpkin carving, face painting, games, and haunted classrooms with friends and family! We also had a fun and very exciting visit from the San Bruno Fire Department, San Bruno Police Department, SPCA, and we were dj'ed by Stratford San Francisco Middle School students! Thank you all so much for celebrating with us as a family!
Best,
CCSB Leadership Team

Uniform & Dress Code
Our mission at Stratford is to provide a secure, safe, and supportive learning environment for our students. The school uniform and dress code policy support the classroom learning environment so all students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and discover their sense of self during their years at Stratford. Being well-groomed and appropriately attired for school, and all School-related activities, is an important step in helping nurture students’ confidence in themselves, their academic pursuits, and personal achievements as part of our Stratford community and beyond. Please see Page 21 of the Stratford Student Handbook for uniform and dress code requirements. In addition, leggings are considered tights and may only be worn under jumpers or skirts - not alone as pants. Please do not send your child to school wearing leggings as their pants. We will begin issuing uniform compliance forms to students out of uniform dress code after September 25th.
Character Counts Spirit Assembly
Each month, we will highlight a different Character Counts trait. One student from each class will be chosen and honored at the assembly for embodying that trait. If your child is selected for an award, your child's classroom teacher will reach out to you to invite you to the assembly. The first trait we are focusing on is responsibility. Please take this opportunity in the coming weeks to discuss with your children what it means to be responsible. Here are a few examples of how students can show responsibility:
Clean up after yourself
Wearing proper uniform
Arriving to school on time
Being prepared for class everyday
SAFETY ON CAMPUS
Please be careful and drive SLOWLY when driving on-campus. There have been a couple of close calls with walkers and drivers. We appreciate your support in keeping all people safe, especially during arrival/departure times. Elementary parents who pick children up early, please do not park in handicap spots. Shout out to Officer Jon who supports and leads all of our safety efforts with great care!

Ms. Pam (Preschool Teacher Room 3)
Hola! My name is Ms. Pam and this is my third year working at Crestmoor Canyon. During my seven years of teaching, I’ve worked with children ranging from infants to five years old. Not only did I get to enjoy teaching the different age groups, but I’ve had opportunities to explore different teaching philosophies such as Reggio-Emilia, Montessori, and play-based. I received my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently attending Foothill College to finish getting my BA. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching the San Francisco Giants play, and baking some yummy desserts.
