From Food services
FYI - No Huntsville City employee (including Principals and Teachers) has the right to use food as a punishment or as a reward. Students must be allowed to buy any type of food or drink sold anywhere on the school campus. Teachers may not tell students that they can only purchase particular items on Fridays "if the student is good". This is a clear use of food as a reward and in some cases, as a punishment.
Choices that are offered daily are:
Baked Chips
Cereal Bars
Cinnamon Buns
Whole Grain Brownies
Ice Cream
Whole Grain Rice Crispy Treats
Muffins – Apple , Banana, Blueberry
Calloway's Corner
In the world of education, there is no lack of creativity, passion, caring, or research as to how to create a great school, a great classroom, or a great student. More often than not, the great barrier to success is having everything in place so that we can sustain excellence. The process of drilling down into data means looking more deeply into data and making useful comparisons. So as we receive our assessment results, let’s make good use of our resources, and the many factors that affect student performance. - Rodney

Belissa's IP Inspiration
is not to fill the minds of students with facts...
it is to teach them to think, if that is possible,
and always to think for themselves.
