Please, continue to ask your students what they learned at school and probe for details. You can go through the assignments completed and ask them to explain it to you. The more interest you take in their work, the more pride they will have in engaging in their learning.

Read with your children about 15 min each day. It is valuable time for bonding and for improving literacy.

For older children, ask them to share who the characters are and how those characters develop in the setting.

This week we had an exciting Happiness is Now assembly. Students got to enjoy music, dance, as they built up their self confidence and happiness. Ask them about it~

Our entire staff has been working hard to make the valet line as efficient and safe as possible. Please, thank our staff for their hard work.

Any confrontation will be referred to law enforcement.

Walkers

We encourage 3rd - 5th grade families (w/o little siblings) to join the walker line and meet them up by the stop sign (Sandlewood/Almondwood). Staff members will walk them up and supervise them.

Yellow Loading zone:

1. Please allow your children to get out of the car, once they are in any part of the loading zone. They do not need to wait for anyone to open the door for them since there is no temperature checks. Younger children can wait until they get closer to the front of the school.
2. Please display the name sign with your child's full name, teacher name, and grade level.
3. Have your child ready with their masks on and back packs to exit on the right side of the car.
4. Parents need to stay in the car.

Siblings at Imperial Middle School (IMS):

We have a table where students with siblings at IMS will be waiting.

If the IMS sibling is walking home, they must have a Walking Home with Older Sibling Permission Form, click here.

In the case of a real emergency, only those listed under emergency contacts, so please visit aeries parent portal and update your emergency contact. Those listed on the emergency contact must present a valid ID to pick up the child.
