Lion King Volunteers Needed!
Mrs. Williams is looking for incoming Stopher fifth graders and any former Stopher students who are interested in being a part of the crew for Lion King, Jr. Please fill out this form if you are interested, and Mrs. Williams will send you more information.

Thursday, August 5
12:00 Matinee: Stopher Day! All Stopher students (incoming first grade through outgoing fifth grade) can see the show for FREE, with the purchase of a $5 adult ticket. Note: all students must have an adult present.
7:00: Community performance
Friday, August 6
12:00 Matinee: New Stopher Sharks Day! All incoming Stopher kindergarteners can see the show for FREE, with the purchase of a $5 adult ticket. Do you have multiple Stopher students? Contact Katie Thomas (katherine.thomas@jefferson.kyschools) for more info!
7:00 Community performance
Grandparents and Senior Citizens: You are more than welcome to attend either matinee for a reduced price of $5!
NOTE: Evening performance tickets will be sold online, starting Thursday, July 28. The link will be emailed to all Stopher families and posted on Stopher social media sites.
Matinee performance tickets will be sold at the door. More information will follow.
Time To Dress Up The Building!
Something has come up and we have to cancel next Saturday's organized day of decorating the building. If you have a couple of hours any evening next week and would like to help with any of the following items, please contact connie.puckett@jefferson.kyschools.us
- Create Bulletin Boards
- Hang Student Art Work
- Paint Cafe' Mural (Needs an eye for detail, however the mural is very simple.)
- Hang Decor from Lights in Lobby
- Create, Laminate and Hang signs above classroom doors
2021-22 Orientations
School Meals Update
**You do not need a Free/Reduced Meal Applicaiton on file for free meals; however, you will need one if you want to be excused from class and field trip fees.
Classroom Supplies, Fees and Dress Code
Class supplies lists have been emailed and can be found below. If you have difficulty opening the file, a paper copy can be picked up in the Stopher office any weekday 9:30-4:00.
In addition to the classroom supplies, each student will have a $25 Class Fee. This can be paid at orientation. To be excused from paying the class fee (as well as field trip fees), you must complete a Free/Reduced Meal Application. . You can pick up a paper copy in our office or complete it on-line at https://www.myschoolapps.com/
Our dress code is very lenient. We are not a uniform school. We do require that students wear closed toe shoes at all times ... no sandals. Shorts and skirts should be at fingertip length. Tops can not have spaghetti straps nor show the midriff.

If your child submitted the medical documents during his/her pre-school enrollment, those forms are no longer valid. Please obtain updated forms from your physician and turn those in as soon as possible.
