Dear LentK5 Families,
We hope that you have been enjoying these past beautiful snow days with your children and families. Our staff has done an amazing job and effort to continue with student academic growth. With our SITE council last week we reviewed some of the data that we would like to share with you, celebrate, and we want to invite you to a virtual meeting to share student growth and share ideas. We will be sending an invitation next week to this virtual meeting. As we continue to prioritize the success of all our students at Lent, we are committed to giving our students the best possible educational experiences. These are the results that we have attained from our assessment form Fall and Winter SITE Council Meeting Data.
We would like to give a huge acknowledgement to our Social Worker, Britany Jaramillo, she has been fantastic to our students, staff, and our community. We invite you all to give your gratitude to Britany next week as it is National Social Worker Week! We also want to send our gratitude to our classified staff (secretaries, EAs, Paras) for all the amazing and dedicated work. Please help us in thanking them as we enter the Classified Staff Week!
Sincerely,
Dr. Amor and Mr. Interian

As we continue to focus on our “Safe Bodies/Kind Words” initiative I would like to recognize Mr Cano’s 4th graders and Maestra Walker’s 2nd graders as exemplars of these values over the last two weeks. Please talk with your student at home about what “Safe Bodies/Kind Words” both look and sound like as we will continue nominating classrooms each week with a goal of every classroom being a representative prior to the end of the year. Each week’s exemplar will have our “Safe Bodies/Kind Words” trophy to display in their classroom for the week and will have their picture posted on a themed bulletin board in the main lobby.
