January 4, 2023 - NEWSLETTER
Hello Centerview Families,
Happy New Year and snow day, everyone! I hope all of you had a good winter break and are beginning the new year refreshed and ready to go!
It’s a good time to re-set and refresh for 2023. As students and staff make their way through this week and next, we will re-focus on strategies to create a learner-centered environment. We will use interactive modeling to teach and re-teach routines and expected behaviors. We will use empathy maps to help students articulate what they hope, need, and want in order to have positive learning experiences. We want our students to be a part of developing the skills and dispositions that lead to a safe, learner-centered environment.
Tomorrow, Thursday, you can kick off the year with some great live music. “Live on 65” welcomes Miss Myra and Moonshiners to the Fine Arts Center at Spring Lake Park High School. Tickets are $5 for students/kids and $12 for adults.
Enjoy the snow everyone and be safe in your commutes!
Take care,
Mike
