Good To Know Information

Requesting a Course Level Change

For any 8th-grade parent/guardian that is looking for override requests on recommendations, the appropriate paperwork is in the school counseling department. It is strongly encouraged to have a conversation with your student's teacher before beginning this process. Override forms are due by March 15th. The process does take a few weeks, so in the interim please complete registration with what was originally recommended for your student. Changes can be made to schedules until school begins.

Elks Presentation-Drug Awareness

The Wallingford Elks is sponsoring a Motivational Youth Speaker, Ray Lozano to come and speak with our 7th and 8th-grade students on drug awareness. Ray delivers a choice-changing, evidence-based message about current drugs and their dangers. He makes his presentations fun while still educating and motivating teens to make healthy choices. Check out this video to learn more about Ray Lozano.
