Useful Resources
Annenberg Classroom- A resource with lessons and video related to teaching the Constitution and related topics. This is geared towards grades 6-12.
Digital Public Library of America - This has a lot of primary source documents, and other supplemental information to search and use with lessons. This is geared towards grades 5-12.
Stanford History Education Group - This resource has a lot of history curriculum and resources for students in grades 8-12.
CK-12 - A wide range of searchable resources and lessons. The teacher version is here, and the student version is here. The grade range is K-12.
Smithsonian - This resource has a huge range of materials, from online exhibits to resources in a wide range of historical fields.
Library of Congress - The Library of Congress has a large wealth of materials, and can be searched. They have a lot of primary documents and images to help supplement lessons.
Museums
Peoria Riverfront Museum - They are filming videos about various historical artifacts in their collection. The youtube playlist has several options.
Putnam Museum - The Putnam has information about how to be a historian in this time. See the information here.
Smithsonian American History Museum - The Smithsonian has some online exhibits that can be explored here.
