As we navigate our new reality, FHS Student Government and SAC wanted a way to give something to families with children in our community to help them celebrate and learn about holidays and events each month. With the help of our school librarian, Ms. Corchesne, students from the National Honor Society, and premade pages from other educators around the globe, we have previously worked to create read-alouds for families to access with their children.
We are looking for teachers, staff, and students to submit read-alouds!
Please help us to continue to bring read-alouds to students and families in the district. We are looking for anyone with books related to our monthly themes to submit completed read-alouds for us to compile and share at the beginning of each month. We welcome submissions in any languages and just ask that you specify the language when submitting the form.
Recommendations for Creating ReadAlouds Using Google Slides
In the hopes of making things as easy as possible for anyone looking to submit a story to us, here is a link to a Google Form with a quick tip for how to make a ReadAloud with Google Slides. This allows you to read in chunks, translate each page if you'd like, and not have to rely on YouTube for the link.
