Progress Reports / 9 Week Grading Period

The 9- week grading period end on Friday, Oct. 13. Students, make sure your assignments are all turned in. Progress report grades will be posted next week.

College Kick Off 10/17

College Kickoff focuses on college and career readiness and is connected to the Riverside County Office of Education Pledge—that all students in Riverside County will graduate from high school well prepared for college and the workforce. Additionally, the campaign is an outgrowth of the Riverside County Education Collaborative that was launched in 2014 by President Barack Obama for increasing college-going rates in the Inland Empire.

CHS Counseling

Senior 1:1 - This week our counselors met one-on-one with seniors for an academic review session. They reviewed and discussed graduation requirements, college/trade/vocational information, college/career resources, post secondary plans, and etc. Students completed a checklist with items that were discussed/reviewed and were provided with their own copy to keep. We encourage you to review this form with your student so we can all work together to support your senior during their last year at CHS and with their post secondary goals. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your student's counselor. You can find the counselor alpha breakdown and contact information here: CHS Counseling.

Attendance Matters

Regular attendance is key for your child's success. Please click on the link to see a larger version of the flier in the photo below.

CHS Attendance Flier

Our number one priority is a consistent focus on teaching and learning while keeping students safe. The safest place our students can be between 8:30 and 3:30 every day is in a classroom.

If a student leaves their classroom or campus without permission or not excused by a parent, the student will be marked Truant. Single period Truancies will result in progressive discipline per our CHS Student Handbook

The Puma Pit Stop

If you don't have your CHS blue grade level spirit shirt or blue Puma Pit shirt, stop by and pick it up and get ready for our home games and Friday spirit days. Students, you will need a blue shirt in order to sit in the Puma Pit Student Section at home game and to get your 5 star points at school! Other Puma gear is available for purchase at the Puma Pit Stop.
